About Us
Thank you for your interest in First Baptist Church Denmark, in Denmark, SC.
Our church meets on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. On Wednesday we offer children’s choir, RAs, Mission Friends, and Youth classes, along with adult Bible study and family meals. On Sundays, we have Sunday School for all ages followed by our worship service.
As a church family, we are blessed with unity in spirit. This is a mission-minded church, focused on outreach to the community. Over the past 15 years, we have served the community with Thanksgiving Day meals, feeding over 1000 meals each year. Our Royal Ambassador (RA’s) program, is an active children’s program that emphasizes the importance of impacting the world for Christ in a real and meaningful way and has raised well over $75,000 for Meals On Wheels. The RA’s also minister to the local homebound members and pack items for prisoners and local nursing homes. By organizing a community day, we provide clothes, meals, and medical screenings for the community at large. Our church sponsors monthly kayak trips on the nearby South Edisto River.
There is also a daycare that operates in our church which serves over 50 children from birth to five years old.
